Danish accessory brand Becksöndergaard has appointment two new managers as it enters a new period of expansion following a 2013 strategic partnership with Swedish equity fund, Valedo.

Jette Romvig will begin her new role as Becksöndergaard’s design manager in June, and will be joined by Pernille Skriver who will fill the newly created brand manager position. Both come to their new positions with an impressive list of accomplishments for respected brands with successful international profiles.

Romvig has a series of successful design positions under her belt at Scandi brands such as InWear, Magasin and, most recently, By Malene Birger, while Skriver will bring aesthetic and conceptual skills honed at a variety of Danish fashion houses, as well as a previous 12 years at Part Two.

Becksöndergaard CEO Lars Andresen said of the new appointments, “We know that Pernille, with her great taste and experience, will keep the concept and design DNA of Becksöndergaard up-to-date and fresh. In addition, Jette, with her creative flair, will take the collection to a new level, expand the portfolio and create new exciting accessories.”

He added, “Together, with the rest of our organization, they will continue to expand our international sales and increase our brand awareness.”
