Boutique magazine is joining the UK’s #MakeItBlue campaign by changing the colour of our online masthead every Thursday. We stand alongside the major entertainment venues, national landmarks and historic buildings that are illuminating across the country as a salute to the NHS and the efforts of our nation’s key workers and healthcare professionals.
The #lightitblue campaign has been organised by a collective of leaders from the events and entertainment industry to show gratitude for those working on the front line looking after Britons who are ill with COVID-19.
Venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Lincoln Cathedral are using existing LED technology to create a flash of blue across facades and screens. The campaign runs alongside the Clap for our Carers mass applause, which takes place every Thursday evening at 8pm.
The nation is being asked to take part while staying safe indoors by painting their bodies blue, wearing blue clothing and posting on social media. We ask retailers and brands to join us and #MakeItBlue to say thank you to UK key workers during this time.
