Boutique Star Awards postponed until 2021

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the next Boutique Star Awards will now take place in 2021. Around 100 industry insiders attended an informal ceremony last October at The Deck inside London’s iconic National Theatre for its first celebratory winners’ party. Entries already submitted this year will be carried over to spring, when the judging process will resume.

Publisher Julie Neill says: “It was a difficult yet necessary decision to postpone this year’s awards. We launched the event to celebrate this amazing industry and it didn’t seem right to go ahead without being able to hold a winners’ party. But we hope to be back bigger than ever next year and with an event that will be remembered for years to come.”  The Boutique Star Awards competition first launched last year as a celebration of independent fashion retailers and their suppliers. Accolades were awarded to the likes of Young Ideas in Derbyshire, Haygen in Islington and Tillets in Yorkshire as well as Capri Clothing, Joanna Edwards Agency and James Lakeland.
