With the 27th edition of Moda UK due to take place at the NEC Birmingham in February, the show has reported a strong early commitment from British and international labels signed up to present their AW15 collections.
With its central location at the biggest and busiest exhibition venue in the country and its reputation as a key fixture on the UK trade show calendar, Moda UK 2015 has over 1,450 brands lined up to be discovered across the show.
Key brands to be welcomed back to Moda Footwear include Dr. Martins, Birkenstock, Mel by Melissa and Fly London. Meanwhile, leading home-grown labels such as Northampton’s Barkers Shoes and Norwich’s Van Dal signal a strong contingent of UK manufactured brands.
Other key footwear brands exhibiting include Rocket Dog, Moda in Pelle, Babycham, Dolcis, Ravel and Gardiners Bros that is set to bring Riva Shoes and The Flexx.
Sporty styles will come by way of Skechers, Gola and Gumbies, while notable brands due to return after a hiatus include Anatomic & Co, Ara, Shepherd of Sweden, Steptronic, Sorel, HB Shoes and Hi-TEC, confirming Moda’s status as the UK’s leading footwear event on the trade show circuit.
After its popular debut in August, Mini Moda is back, showcasing the top children’s footwear labels from across the globe in one stand-out area within the show such as Lelli Kelly, Froddo, Bambi, Pepino, Pediped and Agatha Ruiz De La Prada. Mini Moda offers a new destination for buyers and brands from the UK and beyond, offering a prime buying opportunity for both specialist kid’s retailers and those looking to extend their footwear offer.
In addition to the diverse and exciting range of brands set to exhibit at the show, this season will see the introduction of the BE2B Hub. A dedicated business inspiration centre within the show, it will bring leading e-commerce technologies, retail services and in-store product providers together with a new retail-oriented seminar programme in one accessible pop-up area.
Sean O’Connor, event director for Moda Footwear, said of the upcoming show: “I’m delighted with the positive uptake from big names and new brands alike, it shows a very promising start to the season. We have a diverse selection of brands exhibiting which is always encouraging to see, we are committed to expanding our offer and enriching the trade show experience for visitors.”
