About

Handmade in England Since Out of Xile was founded in 1983, almost all its range of stylish separates and knitwear has always been made entirely in England, using entirely natural fabrics (silk, cottons, linen, wool and viscose). The Out of Xile look is inspired by the British country and seaside – especially the gentle landscapes and soft colours of East Kent, where Out of Xile’s cutting room and workshop is located. Every finished Out of Xile garment is an individual creation with subtle mixtures of colour, texture and detail. We choose sensuous fabrics, cut with a flattering feminine line, and our clothes have a soft, fluid, worn-in look, achieved by our unique dyeing process. The secret ingredient is that every finished garment is dyed to its final shade, so that each element in the design takes up the colour in its own unique way, blending subtle tones of the palette across the textures of the different fabrics. All styles are machine-washable (and tumble dry), and are offered in all the season’s colours. With subtle detailing, luxurious trims and a range of garments to mix and match, Out of Xile is perfect for occasion wear, or to make any day feel special.
