Leading indie supplier CDC is celebrating 25 years of supplying coat hangers to British retailers with a further expansion of its fashion hanger ranges.
CDC is already famous for the extensive range of products stocked in its UK warehouse. These include 19 different natural wooden hanger styles alone, as well as black, white and walnut wooden hangers, metal and plastic hangers and a host of ancillary display goods.
The new styles boost the high-end of its plastic hanger portfolio. ‘Soft touch’ black hangers are available for tops and jackets. The new Crescent range offers a range of crisp, robust tops hangers with children’s to men’s sizes. And the popular velvet flocked suit hanger, which was previously available only as a special item, is now kept in stock for next day delivery throughout the mainland UK.
The gentleness of the ‘soft touch’ hangers achieves style and non-slip quality at the same time, avoiding the need for unsightly and possibly rough non-slip grips. They have to be felt to be believed – fortunately CDC sends free samples before purchase!
Understandably, they have already proved popular with bridal and occasional wear retailers, especially when printed with a brand logo.
The fashion retail supplier is also marking its anniversary with a significant expansion of its in-house print room, in order to maintain a 2-3 week turnaround for personalised hangers in the face of increasing demand.
