Danish fashion brand Coster Copenhagen is making its first foray into retail in August, with two new concept stores due to open in Illums Bolighus and Illum in Copenhagen.
The fashion label has established a strong position in the Scandanavian market after just two years in the industry, with more than 250 clients distributed across Northern Europe.
In fact, it has made such a mark in Denmark that the department store, Illum, approached Coster Copenhagen after being impressed by its increasingly exciting designs and the speed at which it has built such a strong reputation.
“We would like to give selected brands the opportunity to establish themselves through a pop-up shop model. Coster Copenhagen’s collections cater to an ever-larger audience in our business, where the key words are quality, fashion and fit at the right price,” explain Illum’s commercial manager, Natalia Sigvardt.
The brand’s designer, Pia Coster, has many years in the fashion industry and is excited at the opportunity to expose her label to a wider audience.
She commented, “We have already built up a popular brand in neighbouring countries, but with the new stores, we get extra opportunities to present our collections for quality-conscious, international audience.”
