If you’re looking for fresh brands to enhance your boutique’s footwear line-up, September’s Micam Milano is a great place to find the world’s brightest talent. The international footwear fair has now released details of the designers chosen for its Emerging Designers space who will showcase their collections at its next edition this 18-20 September.
Held in collaboration with marketing agency Honegger, the 12 young designers have been selected by the Micam team alongside a panel of esteemed fashion and communication experts. Those on the judging panel included Ernesto Esposito, Tiziana Fausti (president of Tiziana Fausti and 10 Corso Como), Cori Amenta (fashion stylist), Alessandro Maria Ferreri (luxury fashion advisor), Giuseppe Ceccarelli (art director and fashion editor) and Karel Losenicky (fashion photographer).
Micam’s 12 Emerging Designers will present their creations in a dedicated area within the show. Visitors will be offered a unique opportunity to meet up-and-coming designers from all over the world, each with their own individual ethos and story.
This season’s young designers include Scylia Chevaux with her 10.2 brand, Mario Pini with the AHDIID brand, Sergio Silva with the EHONTE brand, Felipe Fiallo with FELIPE FIALLO, Dong Seon Lee and Giuliana Borzillo with ID-EIGHT, Salone Monet with SALONE MONET, Juan Giménez with SELVA, Akudo Iheakanwa with SHEKUDO, Elodie Verdan with SHOE SHOE, Sophie Pantet with SOPHIE BENEL PARIS, Manuela Esposito with SUCETTE and Victoria André with VANDRELAAR.

The next edition of Micam Milano takes place at the Fiera Milano Rho exhibition centre in Milan this 18 – 20 September. Held twice each year, the show presents an extensive range of footwear products from around 2,000 international brands across 63,000sq ft of show space. The event aims to combine fashion with business and communication to create an unmissable opportunity for buyers from all over the world.
