Independent British brand Cara and the Sky has been creating feel-good sustainable knitwear since 2019. This season the label has unveiled a collection of joyful spring staples from pastel striped jumpers and bold checkerboard cardigans to co-ordinating knitted skirts. Each piece is designed in-house and made in Britain in small one-off batches using soft, colourful vegan yarns. The collection includes a range of colourful styles – from snuggly roll necks and oversized longline cardigans to elegant cable knits – that pair perfectly with anything from summer dresses to wide leg jeans.
The brainchild of former fashion buyer Cara Melzack, Cara and The Sky was created as an antidote to the neutral, minimalist knitwear that once dominated the high street. Today the label creates high-end, dopamine-inducing pieces at an accessible price point that supports British manufacturing and helps reduce fashion’s environmental footprint.
