DUMEBI is an Exotic Luxury Womenswear brand created by Barbara Biosah, an emerging Fashion Designer from London UK, currently based between London and Paris, France.
Barbara gained variety of experience of the Fashion Industry that has given her access to a broad knowledge of cultures and the different aspects of each fashion capital that she is using as the imprint of DUMEBI. This includes studying her Bachelor degree at world renowned fashion school Parsons the New school for Design and transferring to International Fashion Academy Paris in France.
During this time she interned with prestigious brands in London, New York and Paris including Gareth Pugh and other luxury designer Fashion houses; Cynthia Rowley and Alice & Olivia before launching DUMEBI at the age of 23 in September 2015.
DUMEBI Specialises in Luxury & HauteCouture very detailed clothing, Shoes & Accessories ethnically handmare in-house at our workshops in Paris and London with our highly skilled team using exotic unique unconventional materials and edgy designs.
DUMEBI offers dramatix, sexy, fun luxury pieces straight off the runway for the Goddess in all women at a competitive price and tailor made service that doesn’t need to be watered down for stores mixing inspirations from Africa with Western silhouettes.
Standing out amongst other cliche African inspired brands out there that tend to use the same african print, DUMEBI has an original fusion of afro-european style using jewllery, embroidery and various textiles to create special designs that reflext african and european culture. The cuts and silhouettes cater to a young and lavish crowd which is more edgy and risky yet girly and classy.
