Premium leather womenswear label ELLESD hosted a festive shopping event recently at a private residence in Chelsea. Attended by supermodel Lara Stone, the luxury brand showcased its AW18 collection alongside ranges from several other labels including Finlay and Co, Lara Heems, Silou and Valery Demure. Guests were treated to cocktails, festive canapés and beauty treatments while they viewed its latest creations.
ELLESD is the brainchild of friends Flora Mascolo and Meriem Semlali-Broby, who spotted a gap in the market for a luxury womenswear collection that focuses on leather. Today the brand specialises in exceptionally cut leather and suede garments that are classically chic but have been given a new season twist.
“We hosted the event to showcase our AW18 collection while creating a luxury festive shopping experience for our core customers,” say the founders. “We believe that the ELLEƧD woman should have the ability to play with her style – mixing core leather staples with bold accessories, luxe jewels or silks. Therefore, we partnered with other brands to help provide the fashionable foundations for a multitude of new season looks.
