Fashion for Conservation (FFC) debuted its latest campaign to protect rainforests during last month’s London Fashion Week.

Presented alongside the United Nations and Fashion Scout, this season’s preview shone a spotlight on the Amazon rainforests, the largest biodiversity hotspot on the planet.

The event included a VIP cocktail party and Rainforest Runway show, which featured zero waste collection Impermanent Flora by Rene Garza for Magpies and Peacocks as well as fantastical rainforest inspired collection Magestic Mystics by Jatin Patel for Kalikas Armour.

FFC was founded by Nazanine Afshar, Samantha Zwicker and Ava Holmes, who are determined to make a positive impact on the world by creating “conscious couture” that inspires consumers while supporting conservation.

Partnered with The Whitley Fund for Nature, FFC has engaged the fashion community to become advocates of grassroots work around the world to protect the threatened habitats that wildlife and people depend on.
