Fatface kicks off Graduate Fashion Week sponsorship with new competition

Fatface has been announced as an official sponsor for Graduate Fashion Week, collaborating with the charity on a new t-shirt competition. Fashion students from the charity’s member universities were invited to submit a design for a printed crew neck tee. Their work will be reviewed by British fashion designers Holly Fulton, Christopher Raeburn and Henry Holland as well as journalist Hilary Alexander OBE, who will select a winner each. The chosen four will receive a £500 prize and will be invited to the Best of GFW catwalk show where their designs will be featured. The winning tees will also be produced and sold in FatFace stores across the country and endorsed by the judge who selected the design. Raeburn comments: “I think increasingly a lot of big brands look to GFW for true, raw, creativity so I’m really looking forward to seeing all the design work. I am hoping to inspire the graduates and let them know that building your own business is possible. If you keep finding good ideas and keep focused, hard work pays off.”
