The Hyve Group has confirmed that next month’s Spring Fair and Moda will go ahead as scheduled, with over 1,000 exhibitors expected to showcase their new ranges at NEC Birmingham on 6 – 9 February. Anyone entering the venue will be required to show a valid Covid-19 pass or negative lateral flow test result while all attendees will need to wear a facemask unless they are exempt.
“We are confidently planning for the show and are very much looking forward to seeing all of you there,” says divisional managing director Julie Driscoll. “As we always have done, we take our responsibilities around Health and Safety at our events incredibly seriously. But we also have a huge responsibility to the many thousands of businesses that rely on us as a key part of their buying and selling calendar.”
Driscoll says the team “saw a renewed energy and excitement” at September’s Autumn Fair where it successfully launched one-to-one networking session Curated Meetings. “We have grown Curated Meetings exponentially for Spring Fair, incorporating all sectors of the show,” she adds. “What 2021 highlighted is the importance of reliability and retailers being able to see and touch what they are buying; one thing is clear they cannot afford another year of virtual buying.”
