The Future of Fashion Program announces winners

Who’s Next and Premiere Classe have announced the two winners from the Future of Fashion Program, a springboard for up-and-coming designers to boost their international development held in partnership with leading digital platform, Not Just A Label.

Scooping top accolade in the ready-to-wear category, Kelly Love is a young Australian brand based in London that offers “feminine, contemporary and elegent” style, owing to a clever blend of trends and the use of fine fabrics.

In the accessory category, the overall winner was Finnish-Swedish brand, VäSka and its line of minimalist, 100 per cent hand made bags and accessories that balance Nordic influences with Mediterranean aesthetics.

Having impressed mentors and international buyers with their creativity and strong commercial potential, they will each now present their SS16 collection from the 4th–7th September at the Porte de Versailles. Kelly Love will exhibit in the Fame area of the trade show Who’s Next, whilst Väska will be found in the trade show Premiere Classe. They will also continue to benefit from extended support and a business plan aiming to raise funds, that is worth €20,000.
