This July, Independent Retailer Month 2013 will see stores from towns and villages across the UK unite with an aim to increase footfall and remind people of the joys of shopping locally.

Indie month is a free UK-wide annual campaign that highlights the important role that smaller, local, independent retailers play in the communities they serve, the local economy they contribute to, and in the retail sector as a whole.

Connect your indie with local consumers and communities through fun activities and events in store, either by teaming up with neighbouring indies, or even across your whole town, and help drum up custom for your business and others that are part of the fabric of the local community.

With July fast approaching, it’s time to think about how you might get your indie involved. Get inspired with ideas for how to participate at Independentretailermonth.co.uk/get-involved and download resources to help you promote your Retailer Month activities and events.
