Harrogate Fashion Week welcomed its highest-ever number of visitors for SS27, with more than 2,000 people attending the three-day event despite continued pressure on independent fashion retail.
Taking place at Harrogate Convention Centre, the SS27 edition brought together more than 250 brands across four fully booked halls, attracting buyers from independent shops, department stores and garden centres from across the UK and Ireland.
Many exhibitors reported strong order writing at the show, with some stands bustling with buyers throughout the three days. Carol C Collections was among those drawing significant interest as it unveiled several new brands to the UK market, including its new own-label collection: Pia Maria.

Beyond new-season product sourcing, organisers continued to build on the social side of the event, with sunny weather adding to the show’s upbeat atmosphere. Its halls and entrances were decorated with colourful installations and dedicated areas for networking and creating social media content. Meanwhile, complimentary Happy Hours, prosecco and popcorn kept buyers refreshed between appointments.
The socialising continued after hours with HFW’s popular After Party on the Sunday evening and farewell drinks on Pomodoro’s stand on Monday.

Behind the scenes, the show’s team handed out goodie bags to exhibitors and personally gathered feedback on what could be improved for future editions.
“Harrogate reminds people why they enjoy being part of the fashion industry,” says Tiffany Moore, owner of Renes Fashion in Lancaster. “It is busy, productive and commercially worthwhile, but also friendly, sociable and genuinely enjoyable.”
Event director Georgia Flynn said the continued growth in visitor numbers demonstrated how much buyers value the combination of business and socialising offered by the event. She expects its next edition for AW27 to be equally busy, with a waiting list of brands hoping to exhibit as well as potential to expand into a fifth hall next summer.
The next edition of Harrogate Fashion Week will take place from 7 – 9 February 2027 at Harrogate Convention Centre.
