High street and premium brands show their support for Fashion SVP

Fashion SVP, the UK’s top fashion sourcing event, is back for 2015 with a bigger and enhanced offering planned for its September edition. Over 150 garment and fabric producers from across Europe and the Mediterranean, producing for brands such as ASOS, Inditex, Otto Group, Ted Baker, Karen Millen, Coast, French Connection and Massimo Dutti, are due to partake in its fifth edition, taking place on 29-30 September 2015, at London’s premier events venue, Olympia.

Fashion production chain professionals from brands and retailers from the UK, Scandinavia, Germany, Benelux, Spain and France have registered to meet new garment producers, while leading Turkish association, Aegean Exporters Association (EIB), has confirmed over 25 Turkish garment manufacturers will also be in attendance showcasing product ranges including casual, formal, sports and evening wear.

Elsewhere, the seminar programme will once again be filled with top industry speakers, while the Future Fabrics Expo has doubled in size and will present the latest in sustainable fabrics. A series of practical workshops has also been launched.

Big industry names are backing the show with Jane Wach, head of supply chain Europe and UK, Oasis, commenting on the forthcoming edition: “I am keen to support the show and my colleagues and I are coming back this September. Again, I will be looking to meet manufacturers who produce for high-street brands, offering reasonable prices and importantly – fast lead times.”

Event director, Buzz Carter said: “After a successful 2014 edition, and in response to visitor requests, we are increasing the size and range of the exhibition by 40 per cent. We will also be enhancing our seminar sessions, introducing new workshops, and we’re greatly looking forward to welcoming the industry once more to the event in September”.
