Inside Ediit Store’s stunning new Islington boutique

Premium womenswear indie Ediit Store has opened its second boutique in Islington. Located on the North London suburb’s vibrant Upper Street, its airy one-storey shop floor stocks a handpicked selection of brands including Berenice, Nema, Soeur Paris, M.A.B.E, Seventy + Mochi, Castaner and American Vintage.

Founder Libby Allan, who comes from a wholesale background, opened the first Ediit Store in London’s Queen’s Park in 2020. Her vision was to bring ever-evolving fashion and gifting collections to local high streets in the capital: “I wanted to create a place where locals could explore and shop quality pieces from diverse brands across the UK and Europe,” she says. “Now, we continue to curate some of the best womenswear and gifting every season, with a refreshed collection of pieces that embrace our customers’ unique styles ranging from quality basics to current season must-haves.”

Ediit Store also operates a transactional website and ships its products to shoppers all around the UK and overseas.

To celebrate the opening, the retailer offered a 15 per cent discount on full-price items across the business over the Islington store’s first weekend of trading. The indie also offered its loyalty shoppers double credits with every purchase.

The new shop joins an array of other high-end Islington indies including The Pantry Underwear, Wild Swans and lifestyle store Haygen.
