Kimberley Walsh to unveil new childrenswear brand at Mini Mode

Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh is set to debut her new childrenswear brand Kimba Kids on the runway of Mini Mode this weekend.

Kimba Kids offers fun and affordable clothing aimed at boys and girls aged 3-12 years and has been designed by Kimberley and developed by her brother Adam, an expert in retail manufacturing. Key pieces in the collection include the ‘K’ print sweats for boys and girls alongside jersey print dresses, sweaters and statement tees.

Kimberley Walsh says: “I can’t wait to showcase my new kidswear range at Mini Mode in September. It’s a fantastic opportunity for visitors to see the brand for themselves and to see how much kids love to wear the pieces – that was always my main goal after all! I hope people agree that it’s a fun brand, which is really easy to wear.”

Founded by UK childrenswear designer Amanda Rabor, London-based event Mini Mode offers a platform for the childrenswear market, showcasing both emerging designers and established brands from around the globe to coincide with London Fashion Week.

The event covers a range of fashion from toddlers through to teens and is divided into two shows: the Industry Show, which will feature the latest SS19 collections on the runway as well as the Consumer Show, which will showcase See-Now-Buy-Now collections for AW18. The event will also include a selection of children’s entertainment, kid’s DJs and workshops in between the main fashion shows, as well as an exclusive Buyers Lounge. Mini Mode aims to bring a unique experience for kids and families that will be talked about from season to season.
