Spring Summer 15 sees Klements launch One Thousand Rainbows, its first capsule collection of womenswear alongside its usual luxury Italian-made scarfs.
Inspired by clean, relaxed 90s shapes, the collection blends the unusual prints for which the label has become known with a grunge and rave aesthetic. Dresses, flood trousers, casual tops and a bomber jacket are adorned with a riot of imagery, hand drawings and paintings in the full spectrum of colour.
All pieces in the new clothing collection are designed, printed and made in London using the finest silks, while the scarves remain made by some of Italy’s finest scarf makers.
Founder Charlotte Allen has a background working with print-loving labels such as Paul Smith, Matthew Williamson and Bolongaro Trevor, before launching her own line in SS13. Klements is now stocked in trendy boutiques and luxury department stores from New York to London and Paris, Beijing and Tokyo, and has also been worn by celebrities such as Lady Gaga.
