Momad Metrópolis will bring together Street and Urban Fashion, Sustainable Fashion and its new Momad Catwalk in hall 4

The next edition of MOMAD Metrópolis, the International Fashion Event, which will be held at IFEMA-Feria de Madrid between 3-5 February, will bring a variety of commercial and experiential content to hall 4, making it one of the main attractions of this third edition of the event. 

IFEMA hall 4 will thus include a complete overview of Street, Urban and Youth Fashion among its commercial offering in the Urban&Young sector, the best showcase of the latest trends and designs targeted at young people. In this sector, prestigious brands from this market segment will be present, like Solid, Coronel Tapioca, Brave Soul, Tiffosi, Six Valves or Celop, among others.   

Similarly, this hall will feature the joint participation of Portuguese denim brands under the name Fashion From Portugal, which including an exhibition showing their value chain.

Hall 4 will also feature one of the most exciting new developments at this edition of MOMAD Metrópolis, the MOMAD Catwalk, which will showcase proposals from a selection of firms for plus sizes, sustainable fashion  and party wear, among others. The initiative will be conducted throughout the three days of the trade fair and will include three daily passes.

That’s not all. Hall 4 will also offer the most innovative collections in Sustainable Fashion, brought to you by major market leaders such as Slow Clothes, Karin de la Sierra, Veganized-Non Toxic Fashion, Pamukkaleworld, Punto a Mano, The Pez and Lofs Shoes who are committed to the use of natural fabrics, handcrafting, environmental protection and ethics in the production and/or marketing processes. 

Hall 4 will also offer a direct connection with halls 12 and 14, where there will be a focus on the sectors Contemporary (classic style collections), Casual (new collections from the youngest brands),  Metro Space (with a careful selection of high-end brands), Leather and Coats, Event (party wear and occasion wear collections), the fast fashion proposals for Spring-Summer ’17 in the Now! sector, Accessories, now more prominent than ever in the event, and finally a space for Swimwear and Lingerie firms. With all of this, Momad Metrópolis will bring together more than 900 brands.

The Winter Terrace, the event’s recreational area and hub, which will feature appealing entertainment initiatives as well as food and entertainment, will also be located in hall 4. 

As a supplement to the commercial exhibition, MOMAD Metrópolis will rely on an attractive programme of parallel activities, among which will be the MOMAD Forum, an area targeting discussion and awareness where prestigious industry experts will provide their perspectives, as well as diverse exhibitions organised by the CSDMM- Advanced Centre of Fashion Design, the Seville School of Fashion and the University College of Design, Innovation and Technology- ESNE. 

With all of this, MOMAD Metrópolis will be putting on a global fashion, commercial and experiential event, providing professional visitors with the biggest fashion showcase on the Iberian Peninsula, as well as other fascinating content that will bring added value to their visit to the trade fair.

 

Held alongside Intergift, Bisutex and MadridJoya

MOMAD Metrópolis coincides with the Intergift, Bisutex and Iberjoya trade fairs, making Feria de Madrid a unique setting for fashion, design and cutting-edge proposals, where more than a thousand textile, costume jewellery, jewellery and decoration firms will present their new début collections. For its part, MOMAD Shoes, the International Event for Footwear and Accessories, will be held between 4-6 March, at IFEMA-Feria de Madrid.
