Nottinghamshire fashion jewellery indie Last Night I Dreamt has relocated to larger premises in the historical town of Southwell. To celebrate the opening owner Rebecca Gibbions hosted an in-store party offering shoppers goody bags, cupcakes and Prosecco.
The new space, located on Southwell’s King Street, is more than double the size of the original store and the renovation process has taken over six months to complete. Standout features include hand-painted signage, a bespoke tiled entrance floor and antique Asprey display cabinets originally from the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Shoppers can buy hand-selected pieces from British and international jewellery designers both in-store and online from brands including Anna Beck, Astley Clarke, Rachel Jackson, Mishky and Enamel Copenhagen.
“Our goal has been to create a destination jewellery boutique at the heart of the Midlands with a wealth of designers you’d only expect to get in London, in a beautiful space that feels both welcoming and wow,” says Rebecca. “And, judging by our customers’ reactions, I feel like we’ve realised our dream!”

Last Night I Dreamt first opened on Southwell’s Queen Street in 2015 offering design-led jewellery from leading brands. Its owner, a former television producer, wanted to create a welcoming space “full of treasures to captivate and pull at the heartstrings.” The boutique also operates a successful e-commerce business and was named by Grazia magazine as one of the best independents in the UK.
