German brand Olsen has been merged with Dutch womenswear company VeldhovenGroup to create a Pan-European fashion house.
The merger follows VeldhovenGroup’s 2013 acquisition of Olsen, which added the brand to its existing portfolio of mid-segment womenswear brands, Sandwich, Trunover, and Dept.
Zug, Switzerland, will be home to the group’s global headquarters, while each brand’s design team will remain in its home market, with Olsen in Hamburg and the rest in Amsterdam.
