Following the success of the SS15 edition in August, Pure London has reported record rebook figures for February 2015, as well as the largest number of new signings at this stage compared to previous seasons.
The news comes as a vote of confidence in the show from the premium brands that take part, with over 375 already confirmed for next year’s show, up 54 per cent from last season.
Pure London introduced several new changes to the show this year, focusing the attention towards the diversity, quality and curation on brands on offer, as well as launching dedicated areas for Launchpad and Emerging Brands, all of which was warmly received by exhibitors as well as the leading buyers and retailers in attendance.
Jules Dawson, managing director at Just Consultancies, who brought Ichi and Waven to August’s show and will return next season with additional brands, commented: “We had a great show [last season], with a wide variety of customers visiting our stand, from new accounts to existing, to some we hadn’t seen for ages. We wrote approximately 60 orders at the show and had over 200 follow-ups across the brands. Having done five shows across Europe in the preceding two months, this was by far our most successful show.”
Popular brands returning to the show next year include Cocorose London, Birkenstock, Jeffery Campbell and Fly London, along with Moda in Pelle, Fiorelli, Vanessa G, Pia Rossini, Humanoid, SMF Jeans, Sugarhill Boutique, Little White Lies and Almost Famous.
75 new brands are already confirmed to exhibit for the first time in February 2015, such as Lola Rose, Noa Noa, Northskull, Saint Noir, Illustrated People, Susie in the Sky, Brit-Stitch, Brenda Macleod and Dina Shaker.
The AW15 edition of Pure London will take place from 8-10th February 2015 at London Olympia.
