The Giftware Association (GA) is calling on brands and retailers to donate gifting products for its new #GiftThemThanks initiative.
Its campaign, which launches on 4 May, celebrates the hard work and dedication of essential workers caring for patients, delivering food, stacking shelves and keeping the streets clean.
Companies are asked to donate products while the public will called on to make nominations on social media using the #GiftThemThanks hashtag.
The campaign’s dedicated Instagram page @GiftThemThanks will announce winners every day throughout the month. There it will display donated gifts and showcase the generosity of the gift sector on social media.
CE Sarah Ward comments: “While most of us are at home, thousands are working daily to keep the country running. We want to show our gratitude by giving back – and what better way to do that than with a gift?
“We’re encouraging our members to do their bit and take part if they can. We hope our new #GiftThemThanks campaign brings our industry together to honour our wonderful key workers.”
To donate to #GiftThemThanks please contact Chris Workman on Chris.Workman@ga-uk.org or Simone Rose on simone.rose@ga-uk.org at the GA.
