Scotland’s Trade Fair Autumn confirms exciting line-up of new exhibitors

With Scotland’s Trade Fair Autumn edition a matter of weeks away, the popular Christmas buying opportunity has confirmed an exciting line-up of companies set to exhibit.

Held at the SECC, Glasgow, from 20-21 September 2015 and with 160 exhibitors including  many new and original brands showcasing products that are perfect for the gift market, the show is ideally placed for Scottish and northern English retailers who need more stock pre the festive rush.

Sponsored by the show, the Launch Gallery is for young, original companies and this year has a line-up of about 15 exhibitors showcasing some truly inspirational gifts. From Stripykat’s stylish fashion accessories to Pop up Designs’ quirky gifts and from Claire’s Baird’s beautiful stationery and cards to Angel Wire’s jewellery.

Also new are Jill Kirkham’s home accessories, gifts from Emmeline Simpson Designs and Emseeitch, and Wilderness at Heart candles, while established exhibitors will be showcasing their latest 2015 Christmas ranges, some of which will only be available at this show. Tartan Twist and Sheila Fleet both supply some of Scotland’s most iconic jewellery, while Belltrees Forge, Chloe Gardner homewares, Dekassa Candles and Hunters Quay Handbags will be on hand with their ever-popular gifting ideas.

“Many retailers like to wait until the summer season is over before ordering Christmas stock,” commented Mark Saunders, MD of show organisers Springboard Events. “This Show is the perfect last opportunity to find new gifts, place Christmas orders without filling vast stock rooms and see what will be in trend for Christmas. The focus of many exhibitors is for impulse purchase, well designed and commercial gift ideas which are perfect for small presents and stocking fillers, as well as larger Christmas presents.”
