This year’s Scottish Autumn Trade Fair Autumn is set to be its best yet with a healthy 10 per cent more exhibitors confirmed to show than there were last year.

Held in Glasgow’s SECC from 21-22nd September, the two-day gift, homeware and jewellery show is well attended by Scottish and Northern English retailers as a crucial last chance to boost stock in time for the Christmas rush.

120 exhibitors will show, with a favourable mix of established companies such as House of Edgar, Tartan Twist, and Chris Lewis jewellery, while exciting new names include highly affordable jewellery from Desire and beautiful accessories by Lucy Donnell.

The show’s sponsored Launch Gallery proffers a space for young, start-up companies with subsidised stand rates to entice innovate newcomers and offer something a little different for show-goers.

Mark Saunders, MD of show organisers Springboard Events, said: “Scotland’s Trade Fair Autumn offers a final opportunity to find additional stock for the Christmas period when many do not have the stock room or opportunity to purchase goods earlier. Many suppliers are exhibiting impulse purchase, well designed and commercial gift ideas, as well as larger Christmas presents.”
