Leading maternity brand Séraphine has set up shop in Leeds’ Victoria Quarter as part of global expansion plans. The prestigious location of the new 775 square ft store is the brand’s first in the UK outside of London and will be joined by a second store in New York and a first in Los Angeles later this year.
Cecile Reinaud, managing director and fournder of Séraphine, commented: “We are delighted to be opening in the Victoria Quarter in Leeds and we’re looking forward to joining other luxury brands and welcoming mums-to-be, new mums and their families alike to experience our maternity and nursing wear.”
Nicola Hanson, Victoria Quarter centre manager, commented: “Séraphine is the perfect fit for the Victoria Quarter shopper who is looking for luxury maternity to wear to make a statement whilst she’s expecting, as well as after her pregnancy. Alongside our other recent new addition, Cutler & Gross, Séraphine will continue to help us to grow our luxury shopping offering. We’re looking forward to announcing further retailer developments over the coming months.”
Reinaud created the brand to offer expecting and new mums premium maternity wear that exudes Parisian chic. This sophisticated but easy-to-wear aesthetic has earned it a glamorous following including royal such as The Duchess of Cambridge, Zara Philips and A-list mums such as Halle Berry, Kate Winslet, Angelina Jolie, Claudia Schiffer.
