Entries for the Boutique Star Awards 2026 close at the end of this month – giving retailers and suppliers just a matter of weeks to put their businesses forward for recognition.

The indie fashion industry has endured a tough few years. The move towards online shopping, a decline in high street footfall and rising business costs have impacted the majority of brands and retailers. We’ve seen countless store closures over the past 12 months as well as brands shutting their order books for the last time.

Yet this industry has a habit of doing things differently. Independent retailers build loyal communities, champion new brands and create memorable shopping experiences that could never be replicated online. And those qualities deserve to be celebrated.

Back for its sixth year, the Boutique Star Awards 2026 includes 20 categories created to recognise the talent and dedication of independent retailers, agents and brands. We’ve introduced three new retailer categories: Independent Department Store of the Year, Resilient Retailer of the Year and Retailer Event of the Year. And for suppliers, there are two new trophies for Lifestyle and Accessories Brand of the Year and Tech Innovation of the Year.

This year’s winners’ party will take place on Tuesday 10 November at the Victory Services Club in central London, giving the industry a chance to celebrate the year’s best success stories.
