Sultry, sophistication and style are the three words that lead the theme of Stephanie Pratt’s new collection for City Goddess.
The second phase of the French Kiss range is a continuation of the successful SS17 line which debuted earlier this year. Embracing modern day Hollywood glamour and a touch of classic femininity, silhouettes range from floor length pieces with thigh high slits and dazzling trains to party-season minis. Necklines vary from a deep plunge to Bardot and for those seeking something different, a low-cut open back.
Designer Stephanie Pratt says: “I am so excited to share my new AW17 collection. The past few months of designing my second range with Goddiva has been the most rewarding experience! I am completely obsessed with the final product and cannot thank Goddiva enough for their support and faith in me. We have an incredible partnership that feels like family. It makes working with them never feel like work. My inspiration for this range was a mix of Cannes film festival glamour and New Year’s Eve cocktail parties in the city. So basically, over-the-top pieces with intricate detailing & embellishments!”
The collection is due to be the talk of the town for the party season. Expect show-stopping stunning embellishments, all with intricately exquisite detailing. Fabrics include soft rich velvets, delicate lace, head to toe sequins and decadent beaded embellishments.
The extensive 40-piece collection is offered in an on-trend pallet of dark tones of black, midnight blues, sultry scarlet and gunmetal greys through to softer shades of champagne, antique golds, blush pink and mink. There’s something to suit every style.
The ‘French Kiss’ collection pays affectionate homage to Stephanie Pratt’s connections to Paris, Stephanie’s education in the city and her love affair for its rich culture, architecture and style. Stephanie’s education in design and interest in fashion is what drove her to originally form the relationship with Goddiva. Being entirely involved throughout the design-development process of this second collection has enabled Stephanie’s skills to grow all the way from conception through to realisation, and as her crafts have advanced, the collection itself has excelled. From creating mood-boards, fashion illustration sketches, fabric consultations and fine detailing, Stephanie has been fully immersed in the course to create her perfect A/W collection.
