British luxury womenswear brand Temperley London has teamed up with Net-a-Porter.com to unveil a film that gives viewers exclusive insight into the world of Temperley and uses innovative technology to offer an immersive digital shopping experience.
The short film, directed by designer Alice Temperley and shot by her film maker brother Henry, follows a fairy tale story around Alice’s Somerset home leading to her annual summer party and portrays a world of British ethereal romance with an edge of playful fancy.
Cutting-edge technology from American video platform, Cinematique, transforms the film into a fully immersive experience, with any of the products featured easily browsed, shopped and shared. By simply touching the moving image, Net-a-Porter.com viewers can immediately add pieces they desire to their personal “boutique” without interrupting film viewing. Items which are selected are tracked, giving users instant access to more exciting content such as behind the scenes, an inside look at Alice’s home, the headers worn by British model Laura Bailey and more.
