The EcoCHic Design Award brings global finalists’ exhibition to London

This May, The EcoChic Design Award is arriving in London to exhibit the winning work from its 2014/15 competition as part of a worldwide tour of the finalists’ home countries.

The EcoChic Design Award is the world’s largest sustainable fashion design competition challenging emerging fashion designers to create mainstream clothing with minimal textile waste.

Taking up residency at Regent’s University London from 2-9 May, the exhibition will showcase garments made by the finalilsts using sustainable design techniques, zero-waste, up-cycling and reconstruction in an effort to cut waste out of fashion.

The London exhibition is the culmination in an international tour that has already taken in Copenhagen, Hong Kong, Beijing, Kaula Lumpur, Taipai, Singapore and Stockholm.
