German intelligent legwear brand, Item m6, has won a Red Dot Award for the pioneering design of its Invisible Tights, providing another reason to take notice of the company that is making shapes worldwide.
Out of nearly 5,000 entries from 56 countries, the company triumphed in the Best Product Design category and can now boast the internationally recognised Red Dot quality seal.
Combining decades of expertise in effective compression with innovative high-performance yarns and contemporary design, Item m6 is a new leg and shapewear concept developed by German high-tech manufacturer, Medi.
Using the same advanced polyamide and elastane fibres that are used in high-performance sports, the new Invisible Tights are just 15 denier, making them the thinnest shapewear tights on the market.
Not only do the tights provide a great fit, they work to stimulate microcirculation for a regenerative effect resulting in lighter and slimmer legs. Designed to flatten, smooth and boost for a perfect silhouette and available in a range of four shades to offer an invisible finish for every skin tone, it’s easy to see why the tights are garnering a global fan base.
With developments in shapewear in recent years making it a must-have for womenswear indies, Invisible Tights will make a wise add-on for summer collections; giving customers the confidence boost to embrace the season’s shorter hemlines and body skimming silhouettes.
