Trend Council presents its first ever Pavilion at Source British

Trend Council presents its first Pavilion in conjunction with Source British trade show taking place in California during LA Fashion Market, from 13-14 March 2017. Source British offers a springboard exclusively for British Brands to start exporting to the US. “America has always had a love affair with British fashion,” says Mitchell Kass, Creative Director and owner of Trend Council. “The UK continues to be a source of exceptionally creative design talent and our Trend Council Pavilion at the upcoming Source British show in Los Angeles will showcase established Fashion, Footwear and Accessories brands as well as emerging designers.” Orla Kiely, Sherene Melinda London and Something Wicked lingerie will be exhibiting in this edited space.

In addition to the Designer Pavilion, buyers will be able to join Trend Council for a live forecasting presentation. This session, presented by Trend Council’s Director of Client and Creative Services Ash Allibhai, has been designed for buyers and exhibitors to identify trends that will shape retail in the upcoming season, outlining must have colour, pattern and key items. “British fashion has always been acclaimed for its ‘fearlessness’ and Brits are famed for their individual sense of style. Often described as having a ‘thrown-on’ feel to what we wear, mixing prints, patterns and styles and pulling this look off effortlessly,” says Ash Allibhai.

To be considered to be part of the Trend Council Pavilion, or invited to the live forecasting you must be: a contemporary British Label (apparel, footwear or accessories), or an agency that represents UK brands; a Label that are looking to export specifically to the US Market.
