House of Fraser has been ranked as Britain’s ‘worst department store’ in a customer satisfaction survey collated by OnBuy.com. Utilising Trustpilot to rank the country’s 11 main department stores, the results found the chain’s Trust Score to be just 1.3 out of 5 with 80 per cent ‘bad’ reviews – the lowest of all retailers in the study.
House of Fraser was closely followed by Selfridges, Flannels and surprisingly John Lewis and Partners as the least trusted UK department stores.
At the top of the board with the most favourable figures was Fenwick with a Trust Score of 3.5 and just 30 per cent ‘bad’ reviews, Fortnum and Mason which scored 2.8 and 61 per cent ‘bad’ reviews and TK Maxx with a score of 2.5 and 49 per cent ‘bad’ reviews.
