Buyers visiting Who’s Next in Paris last month were among the first to see a showcase of this year’s Future of Fashion winners. Twenty international designers across ready-to-wear womenswear and accessories were selected for a two-year coaching programme as part of the scheme, which is organised by the leading fashion exhibition alongside Not Just a Label, Koko Consulting, Fidancia and Lamart and Associates. The designers exhibited their AW14 collections inside the Premiere Classe section at Who’s Next where buyers were able to order the new designs for their stores.
Standout winners include Dora Abodi from Hungary whose baroque-style futuristic graphics have already sold in the Middle East and Japan while featuring in Vogue UK and China. Israel’s Inbal Gvili also turned heads with her silk and organza print dresses, while Ioana Ciolacu (pictured) wowed the crowds with her structured and geometric designs.
