Young ideas

Premium indie group Young Ideas has opened a new store in the town of Lichfield in Staffordshire. The boutique is the third bricks-and-mortar enterprise for the retailer, which also operates two further stores in Ashbourne, Derbyshire and Derby city centre.

The award winning luxury fashion retailer offers a thoughtfully selected range of collections from the world’s top luxury fashion brands including Armani, Belstaff, Coach, Diane von Furstenberg, Hugo Boss, Max Mara, Michael Kors, Paul Smith, Sand and Stuart Weitzman. Its flagship boutique in Ashbourne has become a destination for locals thanks to its wide range of clothing for men and women as well as a designer sale room.

The move to Lichfield is an exciting development for the business, as it aims to increase its accessibility to people in the South Staffordshire and Birmingham area. Owner Anne Wright comments: “We are thrilled to be opening in Lichfield. It is a beautiful city and we are excited to become part of the community as a destination for people who are as passionate for fashion as we are.”

She adds: “Across all of our stores we pride ourselves on offering a welcoming and positive customer experience and the best selection of luxury clothing, which we carefully hand pick from the top design houses. We are looking forward to building long standing and trusting relationships with our clients. We specialise in personal shopping and our team of expert personal stylists can offer private styling experiences over and above the one-to-one service people receive in our stores each day.”

Young Ideas has been a luxury fashion destination for nearly 50 years. Its origins date back to 1967 when designers were first developing global aspirations and Young Ideas was at the forefront of this evolution.

The group has seen raised industry success in the past few years, winning Drapers’ Womenswear Independent of the Year and coveted overall Independent Retailer of the Year in 2013 as well as Premium Fashion Independent of the Year in 2014.

The Lichfield store will open with a wide range of designer womenswear and Wright has plans to introduce menswear and a designer sale room in the near future.
