Yourbrandspace to launch B2B digital marketplace

Wholesale platform is to launch a new marketplace connecting retailers with fashion brands offering short order and stock at trade.

The new development allows retailers to top up their buys with in-season purchases from an international selection of fashion and accessory brands through one easy transaction process.

Launched in 2011 by Samantha Bleasby, former event director at Pure London and Louisa Valvano, former global marketing director at WGSN, set out to revolutionise the way independent retailers source and purchase products. The latest move in its B2B offer comes in response to the changing fashion calendar, meaning that retailers can purchase products online all year round.

The new Shop addition to the site will go live in June and will allow approved trade buyers to search and filter by brand name, product type, season, delivery time-scale and price point, as well as purchase items across multiple brands by credit or debit card.

Available as a subscription service, the platform simplifies the purchasing process between brands and retailers, removing the need for retailers to forward plan budgets and allowing brands to update products whenever they want. Orders will be dispatched by the brand and sent directly to the retailer.

A newly created Discover Zone will host forward-order brands, from global labels to small designers. Retailers can browse and connect directly with brands year round through a two-way message centre.

London-based indie owner, Pamela Shiffer, said of the new launch: “As an independent retailer, it will really help my business when it comes to buying in-season. I like to top up throughout the season with the latest colours and trends and this will help me buy from multiple new brands quickly and easily. The Discovery Zone will also help me in the way the current site does now, by finding new forward order brands at a click of a button.”
