Legendary fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes will share her industry insight on the Inspiring Retail Stage at next month’s Moda at Spring Fair. The British fashion and textile designer will take part in a ‘fireside chat’ with retail analyst Natalie Berg, exploring her remarkable journey in design, leadership and innovation.
A pioneer of British fashion since the late 1960s, Zandra’s career has seen her produce over five decades of fashion collections, with a more recent focus on strategic collaborations with luxury fashion and lifestyle brands such as IKEA, Happy Socks and Poppy Lissiman.
During the session, the designer will share the story behind her fashion career providing insight into how her unique style and daring collaborations help shaped her brand. Attendees will also hear Zandra’s thoughts on the evolution of British fashion and cultivation of female leadership in retail.
With talks taking place throughout Spring Fair’s four-day event, the Inspiring Retail Stage will also welcome Theo Paphitis, Kris Hamer of the British Retail Consortium and ESG pioneer Paul Wright.
Moda is one of the UK’s longest-running fashion trade shows and first united with 70-year-old Spring Fair in 2021. Buyers can browse the latest collections from womenswear, footwear, accessories and jewellery brands to discover fresh products for their stores. The Moda Catwalk also runs a full programme throughout the show’s duration including regular trend-led catwalks three times daily and informative talks from industry experts.
