British brand From My Mother’s Garden took part in a charity fashion show recently to raise vital funds for Against Breast Cancer.

The event was organised by Charity Angels Fundraisers and took place inside Dorset Museum’s striking Victorian Hall. The show featured models who’d all previously suffered from breast cancer and was supported by a range of other local retailers including Colmers Hill Fashion, Gallery on the Square, Great Western Camping, Number Six in Poundbury and Jacqueline’s in Dorset. Several small businesses located at Abbey Farm Abbotsbury also provided raffle prizes to raise additional funds.

Tickets cost £25 each and guests also received fizz and canapes before the start of the show. The event raised over £7,300 for Against Breast Cancer.
“We were delighted to take part in this event to help raise money for research into secondary breast cancer,” says From My Mother’s Garden and Colmers Hill Fashion owner Penny Callaghan. “All the models have previously suffered from breast cancer and so it was a very personal and empowering for them. Many thanks to everyone who supported the show.”
