Hundreds of independent retailers entered Autumn Fair’s Retail Makeover Mission this summer, proving just how strong the appetite is for expert guidance in today’s challenging market. While only two stores won the coveted £10k transformation, the good news is that every indie can now access the same insider knowledge thanks to a series of advice-packed episodes now available to watch online for free.

Episode one charts the early transformation of OSOboutique with owner Katie Gibbs, as mentors Deryane Tadd (The Dressing Room) and John Abbate (retail design and VM specialist) dive into the fundamentals. From crafting a brand story that resonates to elevating the customer journey, their guidance shows how small changes can spark big growth. Future instalments will explore buying smarter, building PR momentum, going digital and fostering lasting loyalty.
To ensure every retailer can follow along, Autumn Fair has also launched a suite of downloadable toolkits to accompany each episode which are all free to access. Highlights from episode one include:
Retail Makeover Mission Brand Strategy Workbook – Step-by-step exercises to sharpen your brand positioning and customer connection.
Simple Changes that Drive Immediate Results by Deryane Tadd – Quick wins to transform your store layout and storytelling.
